Meet the Directors

The heart behind the Glen Adnam Cancer Comfort Basket Foundation — a passionate team of volunteers dedicated to bringing comfort and compassion to Saskatchewan families affected by cancer.

Our Leadership Team

The Glen Adnam Cancer Comfort Basket Foundation is led by a dedicated board of directors who volunteer their time, energy and hearts to our mission. Each director brings unique skills, personal experience and a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families navigating cancer in Saskatchewan.

Our directors believe that no one should face cancer alone — and that a thoughtfully prepared comfort basket can remind someone they are seen, valued and surrounded by community.

Kennedy Tessier

Board of Directors

Kennedy Tessier is the daughter of Lyla and Glen Adnam, sister to Bailey, and a devoted mother to three wonderful boys and her little girl. Her children are at the heart of everything she does and are a constant source of inspiration, strength, and purpose in her life.

A professional photographer since 2018, Kennedy has always believed in using her creativity to help people feel seen, valued, and supported. In 2021, she began offering Cancer Warrior photo sessions to honour individuals affected by cancer and celebrate their courage, strength, and stories. She continued the sessions again in 2023, creating meaningful photographs and lasting memories for individuals and families navigating some of life’s most difficult moments.

Kennedy’s connection to cancer is deeply personal. After losing her father, Glen, in 2019, she carried his memory with her while searching for a meaningful way to help others. Her experiences with grief, motherhood, photography, and community service eventually inspired her to establish the Glen Adnam Cancer Comfort Basket Foundation.

As the Foundation’s Founder and President, Kennedy leads its mission to provide thoughtfully prepared comfort baskets, practical items, and compassionate support to individuals affected by cancer, as well as their caregivers and families. What began as an idea inspired by love and loss has grown into a community-supported mission dedicated to ensuring that no one facing cancer feels forgotten or alone.

Kennedy is also an author with several books and writing projects inspired by grief, healing, motherhood, personal growth, love, and the lasting impact of those we have lost. Through her writing, photography, and work with the Foundation, she shares honest stories and transforms difficult experiences into opportunities for connection, comfort, and hope.

At the centre of everything Kennedy creates is her love for her family and her desire to honour her dad. The Foundation is a continuation of Glen’s kindness, generosity, and love for others. Through every comfort basket delivered, every photograph taken, and every story written, Kennedy is helping ensure that his legacy continues to bring light and comfort to others.

Lyla Adnam

Vice-President, Board of Directors

Lyla Adnam is an interior designer by trade, bringing creativity, compassion, and a thoughtful eye to everything she does. She is a devoted mother to Kennedy and Bailey and was the loving wife of Glen Adnam. Family has always been at the heart of Lyla’s life, and the love she shared with Glen remains a meaningful part of who she is.

Glen was the light of her life and her greatest source of strength. He was her rock, and she was his forever. Their relationship was built on deep love, friendship, loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to one another and their family. Although Glen is deeply missed, Lyla continues to honour his memory by helping carry forward the kindness, warmth, and generosity that defined him.

For Lyla, the Foundation is more than an organization. It is a way to preserve Glen’s legacy, transform love and loss into meaningful action, and bring comfort to others in his name. Through her involvement, she hopes every basket reminds its recipient that they are not alone and that their community is standing beside them.

Bailey Adnam

Board of Directors

Bailey Adnam is the son of Lyla and Glen Adnam, brother to Kennedy Tessier, and a proud uncle to Kennedy’s four children. Family is incredibly important to Bailey, and he carries many of the same wonderful qualities that made his dad so special.

Bailey is a gentle, kind, and compassionate soul. He is thoughtful, caring, and always willing to support the people he loves. In so many ways, Bailey takes after his dad—not only in his intelligence but also in his quiet strength, warm heart, and genuine concern for others.

He holds a diploma in telecommunications, reflecting his intelligence, dedication, and natural ability to understand complex ideas. His family often sees Glen’s intelligence and thoughtful nature shining through him, which makes Bailey’s involvement with the Foundation especially meaningful.

As a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the Glen Adnam Cancer Comfort Basket Foundation, Bailey helps carry forward his father’s legacy. His calm presence, compassion, and commitment to his family make him a valued part of the Foundation. Through his involvement, Bailey honours his dad while helping bring comfort, kindness, and support to individuals and families affected by cancer.
