What is the Glen Adnam Cancer Comfort Basket Foundation?
We are a non-profit foundation founded by Kennedy Tessier in memory of her father, Glen Adnam, who passed away from cancer. We provide comfort baskets to cancer patients and their families to bring a little warmth and care during one of life’s hardest journeys.
Who can receive a comfort basket?
Any cancer patient or their immediate family member in need of support. We believe no one should fight alone.
How do I request a basket?
Visit our Request a Basket page and fill out the short form. We’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
How is the foundation funded?
We rely entirely on donations, fundraising events, and the generosity of sponsors and community members. Every dollar goes directly toward comfort baskets and supporting patients.
How can I donate?
We are currently setting up our online donation platform. In the meantime, please visit our Contact page to get in touch and we’ll be happy to connect with you.
How can I get involved?
There are many ways — volunteer, sponsor, donate, or simply spread the word. Visit our Get Involved page to learn more.
Are you a registered charity?
We are a non-profit foundation working toward full charitable registration. Please contact us for the most up-to-date information on our status.
Who was Glen Adnam?
Glen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and coach who was diagnosed with tonsil squamous cell carcinoma in 2019. He fought with incredible strength and grace. This foundation was born from love for him and a desire to help others walking the same difficult road.
